This classic 18-century design symbolizes maritime supremacy of the seas. The symbolic regalia include a heraldic eagle, mythical dolphins, cascades of sea leaves and pods, a roped and banded rondel frame, and a stylized shell and scrolled leaf bottom crest. The antiqued gold leaf finish is hand-laid onto the hand-cut woodwork. The mirror itself is convex. Made in America, with fifteen separate hand-finishing applications.
