Moving on Up
SCULLY & SCULLY – New York’s venerable treasure chest of furniture, gifts, and collectibles – has redesigned the interior of its historic Park Avenue store in to make room for its classically chic and fabulously dynamic interior design department.
There are scant few names in home décor that can evoke as clear a mood, atmosphere, and refined image as Scully and Scully. The company’s talented interior design department is able to adapt the brand’s aesthetic to the uniqueness of your home. As the Scully and Scully design team says, “Nothing is more exciting about interior design that the transformation of an ordinary space to a room that is comfortable and inviting.”
The design team, Jonathan Tait, Stephen DiGeronimo, and Kate Neupert, does more than select furniture and draperies; they provide ground up service. With close working relationships with craftsman contractors, they can actually mold the shape of the interior itself.
The interior design department can now be found on Scully and Scully’s newly opened, marvelously spacious second floor. This helps make the consultation more comfortable and the end product – a beautiful, comfortable, welcoming interior – more easily achieved. “We are able to play with furniture and lighting arrangements as they would look in their homes,” the designers say. “Clients are able to try out sofas and chairs to be sure that everything will be to their liking.”
