    Dionys Decanter

    Dionys Decanter

Moser considered every aspect of the art of drinking wine in creating the Dionys set (whose name was inspired by the Greek god of wine Dionysus). The decanter comes with a funnel to allow for decantation which is usually reserved for wines with sediment and young immature wines whose bouquet must be drawn by exposure to oxygen at the time of decantation. Moser also designed a red wine glass with a deliberately tall stem to prevent the hands from warming up the wine too quickly. At the same time, the bowl of the glass is big enough to observe the color and purity of the wine. The decanter has a 42.5oz capacity. The red wine glasses stand 9 ¾” tall and have a 25oz capacity.
