Surpassed My Expectations

by

Having been a client of Scully & Scully for years while living in NYC, I ordered this and a companion piece online. Not only were they packed unlike any other I had ever seen, so that they came out of the box in perfect and beautiful condition. I don't usually write reviews but I wanted to say how pleased I am with these pieces.I know I will enjoy them for years to come. They are perfect and BEAUTIFUL.

Intricate veneers and hardware

This five-draw chest is finely designed and constructed. The inlaid patterns and color variations of its drawer fronts and top are striking. It fits perfectly in my library next to an antique bookcase and serves as the ideal base for a bronze sculpture.

Outstanding piece of high quality

by

I bought this piece many years ago when it first came out It is of outstanding quality and built the way things "used to be done." I bought it after looking at many antique pieces of this form that were just too worn and fragile for everyday use, as well as being much more expensive. This chest looks so good that it displays next to period furniture that is much older and you almost cannot tell the difference. The color and finish are perfect in this regard. The small size and especially depth work well too to keep it from dominating a room. Perfect in a hallway or office. Highly recommended, and a great value too.
