A desk for a lifetime -- and for generations to come. Patterned on desks found in stately English homes, it is faithfully reproduced in England exclusively for us. Meticulously crafted with solid wood drawer fronts, rails, moldings and plinths, and a gold-tooled brown leather top. Eight drawers (including three that lock) with solid brass drawer pulls. All three sizes measure 30" h.

This item item is shipped via our White Glove service, in which the merchandise is brought into your home or office, unpacked, inspected and placed in the location of your choice. A customized shipping quote will be provided during checkout based on the items you are purchasing and your delivery address. Please allow 2-4 weeks from the time it ships out from us.

We make every effort to please you with every order. But if an item does not suit you, we will accept its return for a refund, excluding any shipping charges, for up to 60 days from the date of our shipment to you. We accept returns for store credit up to 90 days. Returned items must be unused and in salable condition. A gift can be returned within 90 days for a store credit that is good indefinitely.

This desk is not only beautiful, it's very serviceable. I love the 3 draws that lock for privacy and safety. I thought about this for a long time ,and I'm glad I made the right decision. Delivery was excellent, keeping me informed of time of arrival, and assembly was perfect.

It’s a pricey desk but very classy and well made. It’s in 3 parts that easily interlock. Very solid.

Incredibly well made. As noted by others, it comes in three interlocking pieces with no screws etc and thus moving it is extremely simple. Quite clever in that way, and shows the craftsmanship that goes into these desks. The craftsmanship is evident in all details. Exterior wood is mirrored on each pedestal and is really attractive. I initially had the desk set against a wall, and then we moved and the front of the desk now faces the room, and even my wife, who is not the biggest fan of very traditional furniture, notes the beauty of the wood from time to time (that is saying something). Given the cost, I dithered for a while before buying, and I was immediately, and remain, impressed. There is no question the kids will be fighting hard over this in the future! As was also noted, Scully and Scully uses top notch shippers who clearly knew what they were doing (and have to with this type of furniture). My only advice is to make sure you get the size you want. I got the middle size and wish I got the larger size. This is probably the 3rd review I have ever written.
