These florentine birds are entirely handmade in Italy with techniques used since the 17th century, including remarkably realistic feathering. Each songbird has one style of feather for the wings and tail and another for the body, and gold vermeil beaks.

Bought all three several years ago! They have doubled in value. Scully & Scully, has the best of the best , a pleasure to shop there The sales people are very knowledgeable and friendly !I have been shopping there for over 11yrs always a pleasant experience (Birds still like new, little tarnishing) I miss Elis Phife! Bought these , all three several years ago , they have almost doubled in value ! Scully & Scully has the BEST OF THE BEST in every item they sell! Staff is very knowledgeable and pleasant ! I have been shopping there for 12 yrs always a pleasant experience !! (still like new, tarnished very little)! T.Y.

I bought this collection over 35 years ago while visiting Italy. They are exquisite and would bring a smile to my face each time I saw them. Alas time and multiple moves have stolen them from me and all I have of them right now are the memories BUT now that I have found them again, and available through Scully and Scully, that may change!
