The majestic Snowy Owl, ambassador of the Arctic, is known as both a symbol of sage wisdom and predatory stealth. Its snow-white feathers grant it expert camouflage amongst the wintry terrain, and the actual texture of the feather minimizes the sound of wind against the owl's wings, affording it maximum silence when hunting. Nomadic, sly, and elusive, this iconic bird is wonderfully rendered by that master porcelain artisans at Herend. Featuring the classic fish scale pattern and 24k gold accents, this reserve piece depicts a Snowy Owl perched atop a tree branch, perhaps lost in a moment of contemplation. Handmade and handpainted in Hungary. Limited edition of 200.
