Daum Crystal Le Soleil by Dan Dailey, Limited Edition

Dan Dailey teaches in the glassworks department of Massachusetts College. His favorite subject form is the feminine figure, often voluptous and in poses conveying sensuality and hedonism. Le Soleil expresses the feeling of a woman who is delicately relishing in the heat of the sun and it's the sixth piece of the naked form sculptures collection specially devised for Daum.

Each Daum crystal piece is made using the rare and ancient "Pâte de Verre" glassmaking technique, which dates back to 5,000 BC, involves melting many fragments of colored crystal within a mold. This results in intense colors and subtle shading. Handmade in France. Limited edition of 195.
