This new collaboration marks the artist's second association with Maison Daum, following the tremendous success of the first version of Punky Fish in shades of blue, green and amber. In the new version of Punky Fish, created in white pâte de cristal and enhanced with gold leaf, Patrick Rougereau breathes new life into his phantasmagorical animal. The choice of transparent white crystal, contrasted by gold accents and set on a bronze base, gives the work even greater lightness and luminosity. The combination of immaculate white and sparkling gold subtly evokes the spirit of the festive season, adding a warm, festive touch to the piece. Daum also presents Plum'ky, the golden feather of Punky Fish, also coated in gold leaf, as a collector's item or refined gift, presented in an individual case. The White & Gold Punky Fish remains true to Patrick Rougereau's vision of evoking emotion and giving viewers the freedom to imagine their own story. The piece is crafted using the rare and ancient "Pâte de Verre" method, which involves melting colored crystal fragments within a mold, resulting in unique and intense colors against a subtly shaded background.
