English Round Wooden Coasters

I come from a family where some of the older members had sets of these 'English' coasters and place mats on their tables when we visited. I always wanted these sets and have had them for the last ten years. They held up very well, being wood, felt backed and sturdily gilded and painted and the painted surfaces protected with (something.) It was time to replace some sets due to wear and we needed to accommodate more family members at the table. Our decor requires 'green' but I also love the 'blue color.' Even so, the old mats still are attractive and as protective as they ever were. I still love these sets! I believe many other Sully and Sully customers will find these to be well worth looking for.

I bought 4 wooden coasters and 4 wooden mats and I love all of them. They look lovely on my Italian end tables and servers and help protect the wood. I plan to order additional sets shortly.

Perfect size for glassware or wine bottle. Excellent quality and lovely addition to a table setting.

I ordered these coasters, but debated whether I wanted the black. I'm thrilled to say, that these green coasters are very dark green and in some light actually look black. I love them! Very sophisticated.
