Handcrafted of mahogany, this grand desk boasts mahogany veneers, holly inlay on legs, and a three-panel leather hand-tooled top. Two stationary boxes, 5⅝" h, form impressive ends to the desk. The left drawer has one partition, the right drawer has a sliding writing panel, and the lockable center drawer includes a pencil tray and one partition. The guest side has a three-drawer effect. All hardware and foot cappings are crafted of solid brass. Handmade in America.

Upper section has three shelves that can be placed at any of fifteen heights. Secretary section has dropfront writing surface with gold-tooled leather writing panel, four open sections, two curved drawers and one center section behind a door. Pull-out slides support the writing surface. Doors, drop-front and top drawer all lock with key. Designed by Scully & Scully and exclusively ours, from England.

Mahogany curl oval panels on doors and secretary front. Secretary surface features six small drawers, six open spaces and one space behind small door. Upper section has three adjustable shelves behind doors that lock with key. Lower section has one adjustable shelf behind doors that lock with key.

The sloping drop front opens to reveal an impressive and unique staircase gallery interior, boastin fitted faux books and hidden drawers and cabinets above a short frieze drawer flanked by dummy drawers, with two short and two long drawers below. The bureau stands firmly on bracket feet; the sides with further drawers and hidden drawers. Proudly designed in collaboration with Althorp House, the historic family home of the late Princess Diana.
