Solid wood drawer fronts, rails, moldings and plinths and a gold-tooled green leather top. Finished back. Eight drawers (including three that lock) with solid brass drawer pulls. What looks like two drawers at bottom right is actually a file drawer, adjustable to hold either letter- or legal-length files. Pullout writing surface on each side is 14½" w and extends a full 18", with tooled leather matching desk top. Solid brass handles.

It also has lostwax-cast solid brass hardware and a handrubbed finish, including the back. Drop-front center top drawer at top left and right. Three small drawers at left each have three sections with removable dividers. At left is a pull-out base and an adjustable shelf. Inside the back are five plug sockets, two telephone connections, and two telephone wires.

This distinguished desk is entirely handmade with beautifully matched myrtle veneers. The brown top is real leather hand-tooled in gold. It has solid oak drawers with dovetails at the front and back. What looks like two drawers at the bottom right is actually one deep drawer. The finish and panel trim continue all around. It has lostwax-cast solid brass hardware and a handrubbed finish. It will provide generations of use, while requiring minimal care, just an occasional light dusting.
