Pure handwoven off-white silk exquisitely handpainted with roses and peonies. Red, pink and pale bronze tassel trim with light taupe silk cord. Zippered covers remove to hand wash or dry clean. Feather and down insert. 18" square not including fringe.

charm of days gone by

Since visiting spectacular Ashford Castle in Ireland, which is replete with glorious pillows on every sofa and loveseat, I've been on the hunt for beautiful throw pillows to bring some of their bygone days ambiance to my own surroundings. This is not as simple as one would think, but these pillows are just the ticket! The paint colors are lovely, the fringe is exactly like that on the castle pillows, and once one is over the shock of what it costs to install this seemingly effortless charm in one's own home, the well constructed understated elegance will warm the cockles of your heart for years. These pillows are an indulgence nobody probably 'needs', but as desires go, they are quite spectacular.
