Details

An adorable Herend frog figurine painted in a range of wonderful greens, with limbs outstretched as if readying itself to leap. In 1874, a Herend artist picked up his tools to try to mimic a Chinese plate's fish scale design, beginning the tradition of the illustrious fishnet pattern seen here adorning the frog's body. Handmade and handpainted porcelain from Hungary with 24k gold accents.

Measures 4¾" w x 4¼" d x 1" h.

There is Nothing Like a Name

by

Yes, I’m sorry but I’m one of THOSE people who gets sucked in by some brand names. Herend is one of those names that I don’t have to worry about the quality or condition or size. If you know Herend then you know exactly what you’re getting and this little fellow is no exception. Herend has a wonderful ability to blend fantasy with realism and the result is always magical. Is it pricey? Yes, a bit. Is it worth it? Absolutely!
