These gregarious birds are one of North America’s largest and, in flight, they soar gracefully on broad wings - a sight which has led many to describe their appearance as majestic (on land they are a bit ungainly). To properly convey the remarkable presence of these birds, Herend’s artists have taken some artistic license since the pelican’s normal subdued coloring stands in stark contrast to their colorful personalities. That said, their famous silhouette with its pronounced long bill means these birds are recognizable regardless of the style of camouflage. Limited edition of 175.
