A Georgian style break-arch grandfather clock with triple chime movement. A design typical of the work of the London maker William Webster, circa 1710. The cabinet of the Chatsworth is decorated with book-matched burr veneers and inlaid with satinwood banding. The case features fluted quarter columns to the trunk and Corinthian pillars to the hood. The hood is removable to allow for movement adjustment. The cabinet is bleached, hand rubbed and waxed to achieve an antiqued patina. Handmade in England.
Measures 18" w x 12" d x 80" h.
