Elegant nautical box with a North Star inlay in a cherry finish. Brass ships bell movement features a Mechanical 8-day striking movement. Second brass case features a barometer and thermometer behind a crystal glass lens. Handmade in Germany.

This is a stunning piece. I ordered it on-line and when I opened the delivery package, I realized that it was somewhat bigger than I had imagined and that there was a substantial sized box area behind the clock. That said, it truly is beautiful. While the front portion of the box with the clock and barometer faces is quite nice, the show-stopper is the inlay on top of the box. It is far prettier than what is displayed on-line or in the S & S catalog. This unique piece makes a great addition to my clock collection and will be proudly displayed.
