Limited edition handmade lacquered wood tray with a detailed melon design taken from works by Goerge Brookshaw. A retired cabinetmaker, after ten years Brookshaw published 'Pomona Britannica' in 1812 as the finest work on fruit and flowers. Beautifully executed illustrations captured the best varieties of fruits found in the Royal gardens at Hampton Court, Kensington Gardens, and the private gardens of the Prince of Wales in Blackheath. The black background and gold interior sides add drama to the traditional subject. Part of a collection of trays featuring artworks from best selling artists and museum collections.

Stunning Colors

This tray is just as striking in person as it looks online - the colors really pop and the image is classic botanical-inspired. It's going to go above a kitchen cabinet & I think it will be quite eye-catching.
