This gorgeous tapestry reproduction depicts the 1784 design "Le portique de Junon" that currently hangs in Les Gobelins Museum in Paris. It was one of the last tapestres produced before the French Revolution. The tapestry is filled with the symbolism of Roman goddess Juno, wife of Jupiter. Peacocks and peacock feathers are scattered throughout, while a pair of Putti play the flute and pan flute. This wall hanging reproduction is ideal for collectors or those who appreciate a piece of art in their home. Made in Italy.
