Best known for his city scapes and floral compositions, Impressionist Kamil Kubik (1930-2011) was born in Czechoslavakia before studying and working in Prague, London, San Francisco, and New York. This rich pastel piece allows the viewer to access the beauty of metropolitan life in Prague, showcasing St. Wenceslas Square. Named for the patron saint of Bohemia, the pastel depicts the National Museum and St. Wenceslas monument in summer. Kubik's work has been shown in galleries, books, and magazines across the world, and commissions include White House Christmas cards, USPGA Golf Tournaments, and USTA Tournaments.  Private Collectors include US Presidents, Royalty, and many other appreciators of fine arts.
