Richly detailed hunting oil painting titled "The Fox Hunt" by British artist Heywood Hardy. Splashes of bright red punctuate the pastoral beauty of the English countryside. Heywood Hardy (1842-1933) trained at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris and was a painter and etcher of animals, portraits and sporting subjects. Oil painting on canvas, signed by the artist in the lower right corner. Handpainted in England. Exclusively at Scully & Scully.

Measures 34¾" w x 1½" d x 24½" h. Painting measures 30" x 20".
