The schooner yacht that in 1851 won the first formal racing competition between British and American yachts, the trophy known thereafter as the America’s Cup. It then sailed for both the North and the South during the Civil War. Yacht, flag, banner, and border swirls are petitpoint. Handmade pillow inspired by a painting by James C. Bard. Zippered cover with tan cotton velvet backing removes for dry cleaning. Hypo-allergenic removable polyester insert is American-made.
