Herend Reserve Rothschild Bird Covered Urn $4,255
In 1860, the story of Baroness Rothschild losing her pearl necklace in her Vienna garden and it being found hanging from a tree branch surrounded by birds inspired the creation of the Rothschild Bird pattern. The design was so well-received that similar designs were produced by almost every major European porcelain manufacturer. This covered urn celebrates Rothschild Bird and all of its many moods and was introduced to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the pattern.
