A classic and handsome animal, the fox is heavily cast in solid brass (3¾ pounds each), to create a distinguished bookend or doorstop with a protected padded bottom. Entirely handmade, using the same sand casting and finishing processes as in Revolutionary times, in order to retain the authenticity and patina of the past. Sold individually.

Measures 5½" w x 4" d x 6¼" h.

I love to collect books and these make strikingly different bookends. I have them atop my best bookcase which is filled with hardcover books. I am delighted I bought them.
