Based very closely on designs from 1790 to 1850, on mahogany stands with solid brass meridian rings. Delicately colored gores are copied directly from period papers surrounding explore George Anson's travels. Celestial globe has constellations depicted by mythical beasts and figures. The globe includes an elegant compass centerd in the tripod base. Exclusively at Scully & Scully.

Measures 17" diameter x 37" h. Globe itself measures 12" diameter.
