Details

In ancient China the dragon (with 5 claws) became the symbol for the emperor, bestowing good fortune and protection to the righteous. The dragon with four was a symbol of a Princess. The period of Emperor K’ang Hsi (1622-1722) was one of the high points in the development of blue and white wares. This period inspired this classic design. Handmade and decorated in Portugal.
