Details

Handcrafted in Whirl Green Onyx, a rich green stone with burgundy and brown lines and patches. The design of the bookends present an ancient fluted column, vertically cut in half to form a nice sturdy pair of bookends that are heavy enough to hold weighty books. Because they are real onyx, color varies slightly.

Each bookend measures 5" w x 3" d x 7¼" h.

Expedited shipping on personalized items is only applied upon receiving finished personalized item. Please note that if you require delivery on a Saturday, you must contact our customer service department for assistance. We make every effort to please you with every order. But if an item does not suit you, we will accept its return for a refund, excluding any shipping charges, for up to 60 days from the date of our shipment to you. We accept returns for store credit up to 90 days. Returned items must be unused and in salable condition. A gift can be returned within 90 days for a store credit that is good indefinitely. Personalized items are not returnable, so please take special care when giving instructions for customizing.

Stately Onyx Bookends

The green onyx whirl bookends are very stately looking in design. Their weight is the best I have encountered for bookends-very heavy and weight is evenly distributed. The design of a Greek or US government building facsimile is lovely, yet simple. The coloring is very delicate and appropriate. The are attractive in any decor. Thank you Scully and Scully . Your items are always exquisite.

Nicer than the picture

I was apprehensive about spending so much money on a pair of bookends. Understanding that stone colors can end up being positive or negative, depending on the placement of the colors in the vein, I wasn't sure what I received would look as nice as what was pictured on the website. All that being said, I decided to give it a try. Love them! The customer service rep was courteous and helpful. I am extremely pleased with the workmanship. Do not worry about these being broken in shipment. Scully & Scully do a fantastic job on wrapping these in bubble wrap to ensure they are protected. If I could give this experience 10 stars, I would. Pleased to do business with this company again in future.

I received my Onyx Bookends and they were packed so meticulously and it was a pleasure to see such detail in packing than you do in most stores today.When I took them out, they were exactly like the photo in the catalogue.
