Description Shipping & Returns

Designed in collaboration with designer Christian Ghion, Sand is inspired by the little-noticed organic world around us, such as underwater ripples and micro-cellular streams. The result is organic shapes with an artist's eye, handcrafting one of a kind crystal bowls using the rare and ancient "Pâte de Verre" technique, which dates back to 5,000 BC. It involves melting many fragments of colored crystal within a mold, resulting in intense colors against a subtly shaded background. Handmade in France. Limited editions.
