Daum Crystal La Foule by Laurence Bonnel, Limited Edition $6,430
Born in 1976 in Paris, Laurence Bonnel discovered the art of sculpture in 1998, through her art history and literature courses that revolved around the human form. Bonnel creates architectural silhouettes, primitive in some sense, which emanate a grand presence. The motif of the human, that of couples and that of the crowd, is recurrent and central in her imagination and is purified with stylization akin to that found in the works of Giacometti, or the Cubist bodies of Zadkine. Silhouettes express their narrative form, finding transmission through the inner and subjective experience of the spectator. The process of identification takes place: the more one observes the silhouette, the more one gets into introspection. Each Daum piece is made using the rare and ancient "Pâte de Verre" glassmaking method, which dates back to 5,000 BC. It involves melting many fragments of colored crystal within a mold, resulting in intense colors against a subtle background. Handmade in France. Limited edition of 125.

Daum Crystal Montre Molle by Salvador Dali, Limited Edition $23,930
Spanish artist, painter and sculptor, Salvador Dali is often considered the greatest surrealist artist of the 20th century. He had a sulphurous and an inimitable style and worked to create provocative and spectacular works, which was a reflection of his incredible charisma and creativity. His surrealist inspiration came from the Catalonian Art Nouveau.
$23,930
One of the most famous sculptures of Dali, “Montre Molles”, is at the forefront of surrealism. It comes from the well-known painting “The Persistence of Memory”, more commonly known as the “Soft Watches”. The watches question us on the insignificance of time, while confronting the hardness and softness of forms. Dali was inspired during a dinner, by the sight of a melting camembert cheese on a tray.
The collaboration between Daum and the celebrated artis began in 1968 with "La Fleur du Mal," his first piece in a long series with the Maison. The translucency of Daum's crystal paste offered Dali the appropriate medium through which to express the metamorphoses suggested to him by his "paranoid and critical" perception of reality.

Daum Crystal Kongo, Limited Edition $3,140 - $3,710
Assorted Colors
Street art or urban art was born in France in 1968. This contemporary artistic movement traces its origin to the graphic disciples that varies from comics to posters.
$3,140 - $3,710
Cyril Kongo, is a self-taught artist who has established himself over the period of 20 years, in the artistic field and the French culture, both in Europe and worldwide. His mastery of discipline and his membership in the mythic group MAC for over twenty years, have made him one of the major representatives of the graffiti world.
During an artistic encounter on the streets of Paris one summer evening, Daum was fascinated by the demonstration of Kongo, and decided to give a new dimension to this art, crystallizing the iconic object of this universe of the spray-paint can.
For Daum, Kongo has created Singapore with love, Paris with love and New York with love, three spray-paint cans which are made of colored crystal, with a spray tip in gold. The artist makes each piece unique by personalizing it one by one. This association of Daum's "pâte de cristal" and the colorful universe of Kongo seems obvious. Live the life you love, love the life you live, is the philosophy that the well-known graffitist tries to communicate through his works. With Daum, Kongo has found an astonishing medium to express his art.

Dominique Dardek is a self-taught artist, who's known for his many talents including sculpting, painting and designing. The scultpure speaks to the promise that love holds for new beginnings and new paths.

Daum Crystal Maternity by Jon Decelles, Limited Edition $3,370
Jon DeCelles started to sculpt on little stones with a simple steak knife. He loved sculpting faces and was so passionate by his art that he took sculpture courses, which led to his recognition by experts. After twenty years of sculpting, Jon DeCelles’ found that the realistic faces he loved to depict were now evolving into abstract ones – the artist now sculpts monumental abstract pieces, as well as miniatures barely measuring an inch. He uses soapstone, alabaster, marble and granite and selects each stone himself. For Maternity, Jon DeCelles was inspired by the birth of his sons and the softness and the comfort of a mother's arm can provide a child. Both the mother and the child have their eyes closed, as if frozen in this moment of blissful eternity. His sculptures are full of tenderness and sensuality and incite a sense of calming and contemplative atmosphere.

Daum Crystal Daumot 163 by Kriki, Limited Edition $18,700
Kriki, born in 1965 at Issy-Les-Moulineaux, lives and works in Paris. In 1984, Kriki founded a group of painters called Nuklé-Art. With the street and the underground as his art school, he was involved in the beginnings of what is now known as ‘‘Street Art’’. Kriki clearly belongs to the generation whose sensibility expresses itself in Free Figurative Art, which he helps to renew.

In 1985, Kriki invented a character, “Fuzz”, a half-robot, half-fetish, polymorphous, omnipresent piece, and a true signature of the artist. Its emblematic head would sit on the shoulders of the Daumot 163 robot.
Kriki describes his art saying, ‘‘My passion for robots and robotics in general has always been there. Robot toys in particular, made of silk-screened metal of the 60s have always fascinated me, and it is what I collect. I have always been amazed, moved even, by the sophisticated manual work and the French know-how, which radiates throughout the world. On site, at the Daum crystal manufacturer, I reconnected somehow with passion to the arts and craft, in which I find myself. Moreover, as a painter, the exploitation of the colored pigments and their richness, speak to me. This part of liberty in the final interpretation of the alchemy of colors, as well as their intensity, simultaneously retained and returned by the crystal, is why I sought to fusion the material with light in designing the Daumot 163. And if Daumot 163 - and I must admit - is a dream come true, it nevertheless remains that living sign and marker that perpetuates the fusion of contemporary art and the French know-how represented by this Nancy manufacturer, nourished by its many artistic collaborations. I like the idea that a robot, which does not exist in a natural state, embodies technical intelligence, skill, mastery, ingenuity, and even virtuosity that still characterizes the art pieces stamped by Daum today’’.
