Sylvie Koechlin is an original artist who works directly in stone. The four essential elements, water, fire, air and earth, are her primary sources of inspiration.

The original model for Kea is a sculpture carved in alabaster. "Kéa" is the result of a long period of study concentrated of the human face. The two pieces bring out the natural forms of the block, with its grain and its veins as well as its chips and its breaks.

Each Daum crystal piece is made using the rare and ancient "Pâte de Verre" glassmaking technique, which dates back to 5,000 BC, involves melting many fragments of colored crystal within a mold. This results in intense colors and subtle shading. Handmade in France. Limited ediiton of 500
