Interior designer himself, Hicham Lahlou is considered as the precursor of urban industrial design in Morocco. For Daum, Hicham Lahlou has designed an Oryx. The Oryx designed and reinterpreted by Hicham Lahlou is exalted by the Daum ‘‘pâte de cristal’’. Its emblematic shape is almost mystic, its intense amber color and golden horns take a great part in the magic of the piece arousing lots of emotion and curiosity.

Each Daum crystal piece is made using the rare and ancient "Pâte de Verre" glassmaking technique, which dates back to 5,000 BC and involves melting many fragments of colored crystal within a mold. This results in intense colors and subtle shading. Handmade in France. Limited edition of 99.
