Georg Jensen Grape Sterling Silver Round Tray $11,000
This round tray with handles from 1918 is in the Art Nouveau style. The grape details on the handles demonstrate Georg Jensen’s admiration for nature and inspired by his time in Paris and his love of French wine. Trays are the most difficult and time-consuming type of hollowware to make – it takes a lot more than 4 years of apprenticeship to learn how to make trays through repetition and practice. As a soft material, sterling silver requires repeated hammering to strengthen the tray, requiring as many as 6 different hammers throughout the process. Handmade in Denmark.

Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Pitcher 1010 $15,200
The spare, geometrical silver design of Pitcher 1010 reflects the functionalistic idiom of Bernadotte’s style and pairs handcrafted sterling silver with an ebony handle. Bernadotte replaced Georg Jensen’s typical hammered finish with a clean and smooth surface. Pitcher 1010 is also called the ice-water jug due to the functional sieve that works as a strainer hindering ice cubes or lemon pieces from slipping out. The Pitcher became a design icon in 1980 when Sarah Booth Conroy wrote in The Washington Post, "the Sterling Silver ice-water jug, designed by Bernadotte in 1952, is fit not only for a king but a god." Handmade in Denmark.

Georg Jensen Silver Pill Box $1,050After the covered dish became a success around the world, Koppel wanted to show that his designs could also take a life in miniature pieces. He began working on a pill box that could be compared to the covered dish, the way caviar could be compared to the sturgeon – just as simple and controlled as the large serving dish. Other small unique hollowware pieces with different functions followed later on. The Pill Box 325 is one of the most difficult and time consuming pieces to make because it consist of 2 pieces which have to fit together perfectly. A lot of time is spent on the hinge in order to adjust it to the point where it opens just right - not too tight and not too loose. The opening must also be adjusted so that it is not too tight to open but at the same time it must click when closing.$1,050

Georg Jensen My Favourite Child's Dish $700
This is a collection infused with love. Designer Vivianna Torun Bülow-Hübe thought back to her favourite spoon from childhood when she began her designs. She came up with her great-grandmother’s christening spoon, which she was given to use as a special treat. Her memories of eating from this spoon were especially sweet, because she was reminded of the treats she ate, like berries with whipped cream and homemade jam. The designer wanted the collection to embody the feeling of love and joy from her childhood memory. There is a secret heart hidden in the design.

Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Grape Goblet $4,400
The Grape design was first introduced with the Grape Bowls in 1918. The wine goblet on stem 263A was added to the selection in 1980 when it was decided to create this wine goblet based on the Grape Candlesticks. Three wine goblets were designed; one with amethyst, one with rubies and one in pure sterling silver. As most of Georg Jensen’s designs this wine goblets is in the Art Nouveau style with the characteristic ornamental curved lines, organic structures, decorative ornaments of flora and fauna, and the use of honest and skilfully crafted materials. Like a vine, the stem is twisted and uneven, and small bunches of grapes are hanging down pendulously. Also in these hollowware pieces Georg Jensen has incorporated the nature as decoration. The surface of the actual goblet and the foot has the characteristic hammer marks, which Georg Jensen used to softens the reflection of light in the silver in order to create the greyish shimmer he associated with moonlight. The Chaser has worked on the stem to make the pattern clearer and has also applied the hammer marks. Before soldering together the foot and the stem and then the goblet, the silversmith spends a significant amount of time lining up the pieces to make sure that the angles are absolutely perfect. The smallest inaccuracy will make the goblet look crooked. The small bunches of grapes are cast and polished individually and then soldered on the twisted branch – a heavy string of silver - which the silversmith has bent to fit underneath the goblet. The silversmith then solders the branch with the grapes onto the goblet.
