19th century Portuguese designer Bordallo Pinheiro founded his own earthenware company in 1884, which still creates collections based on original designs under the guiding values and attention to detail of Vista Alegre. The Futurismo collection is a contemporary reinterpretation of Futurism, celebrating progress and marking a period of reinvention of artistic languages. Its vibrant and contrasting colors combined with the oblique lines, circles, and divergent angles evoke a feeling of vigorous movement.
