Two lovebirds, so similar, and yet so different, rest contemplatively in each other’s company. The branch between them has taken its color from the pair of them, in a rare and magical fusion. To create this masterly fusion, Daum artists used a rare and ancient glassmaking technique, dating to 5,000 B.C., which involves melting many fragments of colored crystal within a mold. This results in the intense colors and subtle shading seen above. Handmade in France.

We accept returns for store credit up to 90 days. Returned items must be unused and in salable condition. A gift can be returned within 90 days for a store credit that is good indefinitely. Daum Pate de Verre Green and Blue Crystal Lovebirds

I received these lovebirds a few days ago and am really enamored by their beauty. The pate de verre process goes back multiple millenia, and that by itself makes a great impression on me. The birds, however, are sweet and leave me with a glad feeling that I purchased them, andtheir green and blue translucent coloring brings yet another dimension to my eclectic crystal collection.C'est bon.

My lovebirds Loved the Daum 'Pate De Verre' Crystal Lovebirds

My lovebirds are a couple who celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on February 29, which being leap day, made it their 10th anniversary as well. They were delighted with the whimsical pair of green and blue birds as a perfect token of their love, patient persistence and success as a married couple and business partners. They were also delighted that Daum had so carefully crafted their gift to make it beautiful and just the right size to add a note of beauty to their home without being showy or ostentatious.

Daum Blue Green Love Birds

I saw this exquisite and colorful Daum pate de verre figurine in a recent Scully and Scully email promotion and knew immediately that I wanted to make this a Valentines Day gift for my wife. We went ahead and opened the beautiful package last evening (a couple of days before Valentines Day). And, we both absolutely love the little glass sculpture. The colors are beyond vivid and positively glow from a lighted crystal cabinet we have in our main sitting room. Thank you very much for your care with regard to packaging and shipping and HIGH QUALITY merchandise.
