Details

Handmade wooden placemats are handpainted in beautiful colors before being lacquered. The lacquer provides heat-resistance, allowing them to hold hot plates and dishes. The underside is felt-backed to protect your surfaces. All are sold in sets of four. Handmade in England. Exclusively at Scully & Scully.

Expedited shipping on personalized items is only applied upon receiving finished personalized item. Please note that if you require delivery on a Saturday, you must contact our customer service department for assistance. We make every effort to please you with every order. But if an item does not suit you, we will accept its return for a refund, excluding any shipping charges, for up to 60 days from the date of our shipment to you. We accept returns for store credit up to 90 days. Returned items must be unused and in salable condition. A gift can be returned within 90 days for a store credit that is good indefinitely. Personalized items are not returnable, so please take special care when giving instructions for customizing.

These size & shape of placemats are impossible to find in the USA. THANK YOU for selling them.

I searched everywhere for these!

These placemats are gorgeous. Their lustrous finish glows in candlelight. But you have to be sort of "English" to want the medium size for dinner plates, because your flatware will sit off the placemat. I spent three weeks twice looking for these in England, and failed.

English wooden mats

These are just I needed. They are beautiful and very practical, also. The quality is unbeatable. I have ordered a few other things from Scully & Scully. Although the items seem pretty high, you get what you pay for. I am very pleased.
