Folding Library Steps

These steps are an elegant addition to our library--ornamental as well as useful, they are sturdy yet light to move. We are very much pleased with this purchase--it is exactly what we hoped to find.

Just what I've been wanting/needing for my library. The dimensions are perfect. And the wrapping of the package was extraordinary. A beautiful addition to my library.

I recently ordered the Scully & Scully folding library steps in order to get up to the higher bookshelves in my study. They arrived promptly, extremely well packaged, without a scratch. The color is deep red-brown mahogany, very nice wood grain and finish, with folding mechanism cleverly done and working fine. It doesn’t take up a lot of room when folded, and folds out quickly for use. Stable when standing on it; I’m 185 lbs. I would limit standing on the top to about 215 lbs. excellent product; I would order it again.

The stairs arrived within a week, well packaged and in perfect condition. They are are solid, the finish is lovely and they are easy to operate.

This is second set I have purchased. It has been very handy in my kitchen and decided to purchase second steps for master closet. This will make it easier to reach articles from top rack and shelves. Also, second set will eliminate n Ed to carrying the other steps up stairs or pull out a ladder. Very nice look, too.

The stairs are great and the shipment come within 3 days of ordering them. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality wood stairs.

The steps are typical of all our Scully and Scully purchases... OUTSTANDING! The steps were very carefully packed and arrived safe, sound, and in perfect condition. We will certainly continue shopping at Scully and Scully.

After considering many steps, I chose the S&S mahogany steps based on their handsome design, size when both open and closed, AND the excellent reputation of S&S. I was not disappointed! They are a lovely addition to my library/sitting room. The steps open and close easily, and they are extremely sturdy and stable. I love them, and recommend them without hesitation.

The library steps are very durable and make a nice accent piece in any room. I am using mine in the master closet. Very easy to fold and unfold.

I have been looking for one of these for several years! I am soooo pleased with this product! It works so well in my closet. A step stool and when not a step stool it is a bench to sit on and put on socks and shine my shoes!!!

These folding steps are beautiful and perfect for our home library. They are solid and make a lovely addition to our decor. Given as a birthday gift to my husband, he agreed that it was a marvelous idea ... very useful!

The steps meet a need in a very fashionable way. We are pleased with our purchase.

These steps are well made, beautiful, take up minimum space, and serve as steps and as a bench to sit in. Very tall so I can reach those top cabinets without getting the step ladder! The mechanism is easy to use and I love the cut out at the top that works as a handle. Lightweight but sturdy!

Light enough to carry around but sturdy enough to climb on.

Beutifully made all wood stool. So handsome it need not be hidden away.

These steps are lovely, unobtrusive, and light enough to be carried easily from place to place. At our age, we prefer to stand on something that feels sturdy and stable, and these steps meet that requirement. They are very easy to fold and unfold, and make a perfect extra side table in our living room. My wife thinks an additional set would make a perfect plant display stand in front of a sunny window.

Combines functionality and appearance. An asset to any home library with limited space.

My folding library steps are absolutely gorgeous, and functional, too! I carry them everywhere in the house where I need a step-stool, which is in every room! They are lightweight to carry, but very sturdy, unlike a flimsy step-stool. Best of all, they look like a pretty little end table when folded up next to my kitchen cabinets. My only complaint is the price, because I would love to have a couple more sets!

This was just what I was looking for! Very solidly built and sturdy, yet a lovely design that even looks good stashed in the corner. Easy to carry (love the slot in the top.) Sooooo much better than jumping up on a dining room chair when I want to reach for something.
