This stunning Georgian style basket top clock is lacquered and individually handpainted. Each clock requires two weeks to complete the artwork alone: layer gesso, gold leaf and final decorative detail. Finest quality triple chime eight day movement with automatic chime sequence correction and night silencer. Nine jewel platform escapement. Solid brass dial has silvered chapter ring, cast brass spandrels and fine milled hands. Beveled glasses fitted on all sides. All brassware is goldplated. Handmade in England exclusively for Scully & Scully. Each has an engraved plate with individual number and Certificate of Authenticity. Limited edition of 50.
