A whimsical contemporary update to a classic folklore character. Features the illustrious fishnet design, first created in 1874 when a Herend artist picked up his tools to try to mimic a Chinese plate's fish scale. Porcelain from Hungary, handmade and handpainted with 24k gold accents.

Measures 2¼" w x 3¾" h.

We accept returns for store credit up to 90 days. Returned items must be unused and in salable condition. A gift can be returned within 90 days for a store credit that is good indefinitely. Oh my gosh this gnome is just the cutest...I had a hard time deciding what color to get so I got the blue...there will be several more of these in my near future...I think red and green are next...Scully and Scully service as always is the best...

Granddaughter collectibles

I began giving Herend figurines to my granddaughters in 2000, when the first of the three was born. One could wonder why I would give an expensive and delicate gift to a baby or small child or even young teenager, but my thought was that this was a special gift specific to each of them each year and at some point, will hopefully become a treasured collection. The staff, when I call, are always so helpful and many times I've shared my thoughts about what this means to me as well as to my granddaughters. So worth doing!

He is so adorable and much bigger than I thought. Will be a focal point in next year's Christmas decorations. I bought two in the green color, so I have a pair to display!Highly recommended.
