Fine antique Florentine hand-tooled leather over wood with reproduction book spines. This charming shelf of leather front books opens up by two doors to reveal the concealed iron safe within. This safe features an electronic Yale lock to secure your treasured posessions. For maximum security, safe should be anchored to wall. Hardware not included. Handmade in Italy. Exclusively at Scully & Scully. Please note that books may vary from shown.

But if an item does not suit you, we will accept its return for a refund, excluding any shipping charges, for up to 60 days from the date of our shipment to you. We accept returns for store credit up to 90 days. Returned items must be unused and in salable condition. A gift can be returned within 90 days for a store credit that is good indefinitely. It's more beautiful in person!

We have other leather books products from Scully & Scully that we have enjoyed. This is the by far the best looking one of all. We were both pleasantly surprised when we opened the box. We started to set up the safe without following directions, however when we called customer service our agent was very helpful. This is very attractive. We are pleased with our purchase!

Exquisite Leather Workmanship

The leather workmanship is fantastic. The books look real. The titles on mine happen to be names of books I might read and have in my library. It blends in well.The item came in an unmarked box so there were no concerns about security of the hidden safe.The safe is bolted to its leather frame through the two holes in the back as well as, perhaps, by other means. If you want to secure the safe to a wall, you will have to remove the bolts and drill through the leather back as well as the wall. As the safe did not come with bolts for the wall, I will inquire with the maker of the safe, Yale, and see if I can obtain the necessary bolts from them. I believe that the safe has an alarm (as most Yale safes are) but have not tried it to verify this. The setting of the combination was easy and intuitive. The safe itself is Yale's smallest product and while not heavy, appears to be sturdy. This item's key virtue is its deception as a set of books from the front. The top is a leather pad so if you want to complete its disguise as a set of books, you will either have to put the unit in a tight fitting shelf or set real books on top of it and on either side.Overall, a wonderful piece of leather workmanship. I would buy it again and would recommend it.

Beautiful Leather Books with a Secret

This is just what I was looking for. I needed a secret safe to hide my passwords and jewelry but would also allow me quick and easy access. This safe fits in perfectly amongst my other leather books in my office. I wish I could show you a photo, because I don't think you would be able to tell where the fake books begin and my real books end. Beautiful craftsmanship and, I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing, but it's easy to take with you if you need to grab your valuables and leave the house. I'm pretty sure a thief would never find it. A fabulous purchase.
