The panic of losing 1 of 10 of your favorite plates!

by

I’m effected with a Love of beautiful China.About 10 years ago, My wife and I were in Derby and made a stop at the Royal Crown Derby factory. We bought 10 of a Salad size plate, in the Imari Garden pattern. We seldom used them, not wanting to damage them. We recently moved from an Antebellum House in Louisiana to a high rise condo in Houston. In Houston we hung all 10 of the plates around a round Convex Mirror. PerfectAt Christmas we put a Wreath around the mirror. In removing the wreath. I accidentally nudged the top-most plate off the wall. Not good. After a lengthy search we found the sister of the “missing plate” at Scully & Scully. It’s on the wall now as a perfect match!
